"Theology Matters" with the Pellews: A Dialog on the Doctrine of Justification

b'Join Devin & Melissa Pellew as they discuss topics related to biblical theology, Christian apologetics and worldview issues. This week, we will be hosting a dialog on Justification between two scholars- one Roman Catholic and one Protestant.\\n\\nRepresenting the Roman Catholic view of Justication will be Doug Beaumont. Doug earned an M.A. in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary where he served as assistant to Norman Geisler and taught Bible and Religion for ten years before converting to Catholicism. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Theology at North-West University and is the author of "The Message Behind the Movie" (Moody, 2009), and has contributed to "The Apologetics Study Bible for Students" (B&H, 2010), "Got Questions?" (Pleasant Word, 2009), and has published articles in "The Christian Apologetics Journal." He also has a blog called Soul Device where he writes on theology, philosophy, apologetics, and other topics. He and wife, Elaine, reside in the Charlotte metro area with their three children.\\n\\nRepresenting the Protestant view of Justification will be Tony Arsenal. Tony is\\xa0a recent graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton MA, where he received Master of Arts Degrees in Church History, and Theology and was awarded the Baker Award for Excellence in Theological Studies. He has presented papers with the Evangelical Theological Society and the Gordon-Conwell Theology Forum. His current\\xa0research interests are Trinitarian and Christological Theology, and Reformed Systematics, and Early Church History.
