The marriage of Tanya and John Skelton was falling apart in 2010.\\xa0 The couple shared three sons, Andrew, Alexander, and Tanner Skelton who\\xa0 were aged 9, 7 and 5.\\xa0 John had left town with the children on multiple occasions that year, causing Tanya to file for divorce and obtain full custody of the boys.

\\nBy Thanksgiving 2010, the couple were amicable enough that Tanya agreed to let John have the boys for the holiday, on the condition that he would return them to her on Friday.\\xa0
\\n
\\nWhen John had not returned the boys by the afternoon, Tanya began to panic.\\xa0 She tracked John down at a hospital where he had been admitted following a failed suicide attempt.\\xa0 The boys were nowhere to be found.
\\n
\\nNovember 2023 marked 13 years since the boys vanished.\\xa0 John has refused to give any information about their whereabouts and has always maintained he did not hurt his children.\\xa0 He said at one point they would \\u2018hibernate until they graduate.\\u2019\\xa0 All of the boys would now be aged over 18 and none of them have been seen since Thanksgiving Day 2010.
