\\nMadalina Cojocari was 11 years old when she was last seen getting off the school bus in North Carolina on November 21, 2022.\\xa0 Madalina did not attend school after that date.\\xa0 By mid December, school officials were concerned and asked to meet with Madalina and her parents.\\xa0 Madalina\\u2019s mother Diana showed up to the school on December 15 and confessed that she did not know where her daughter was.\\xa0 The FBI became involved quickly.\\xa0 Madalina\\u2019s case is strange and confusing. \\xa0 Both her mother and step-father have been arrested and charged with failing to report the disappearance of a child.\\xa0 As of October 2023, Madalina remains missing.

\\nCharlotte Sena (9) was camping with her family in a state park in New York on September 30, 2023.\\xa0 She told her cousins that she was going for a quick bike ride before returning to their campsite.\\xa0 Her family became alarmed very quickly when she did not return, and they found her bike abandoned nearby.\\xa0 A few days later, on October 2, a man named Craig Ross Jr delivered a ransom note to the Sena home.\\xa0 It is believed he forced Charlotte to write the note, and in it, he demanded $50,000 for her safe return.\\xa0 Police moved quickly and tracked him down hours later.\\xa0 Charlotte was found alive, hidden in a cupboard in his grimy trailer.\\xa0
