From 1972 to 1973 five boys were attacked all between the ages of 8 and 10. Four were murdered, one survived. Four of the victims were sodomized by their attacker and had their genitals mutilated or removed, they were all stabbed in frenzying patterns, one even had an X carved on his chest. The murders remain unsolved. Now I know if you're listening true crime has got to be your thing but this case may not seem familiar to you at all. And that adds to the tragedy of these attacks. The boys that were killed were from Harlem, four of the victims were African American and one boy was of Puerto Rican descent. In this case we are, of course, going to go over the heinous crimes, the suspects, and the theories but we are also going to cover the idea of the \\u201cless dead\\u201d and what happens when a community and its police force are not on the same page.
