The murder occurred over the Thanksgiving holiday when many students were back home with family. Betsy had everything going for her in life. She had already obtained her undergraduate degree and was working on her graduate degree at Penn State. She had a loving boyfriend who was attending college there with her. Who would want to kill this young, beautiful woman who was so loved by everyone that knew her.
