Soka Tribe is a cultural exploration brand specializing in dance fitness that brings the spirit of Caribbean carnival to it's clients through workouts, social events, organized trips to carnival, and performances. Shermica is also an enthusiast of connecting the Carnival, Soca, and Carribean practices to their not well enough discussed Roots in West Africa and her travels and several projects have supported this. Shermica detailed her entrepreneurial journey, all things Soka Tribe, her recent trip to Ghana and working with artists and dancers in Ghana to connect the Caribbean Carnival experience with it's African origins as they held a celebration there.
