Israel Dejene @megabiskate, a pioneer for skateboarding in Ethiopia, musician, and philanthropist joins us this week. Israel detailed his youth days growing up in one of the roughest parts of Ethiopia and how it inspired him to create something positive to help benefit the youth and how it grew to the point of him being able to work with Tony Hawk, ESPN, and XGames to bring them all and other pro skaters to Ethiopia to push the sport and help build the community. He talked about his first experiences with skateboarding coming from Ethiopia, all the things he has planned for Ethiopia's youth with skateboarding, his work with the skateboarding committee working to get the sport in the Olympics, and him even pushing his all girls skate team to one day compete in the Olympics hopefully.
