In this latest ball-kicking episode, Magnus winds up this five part series dedicated to movie sequels that have been severely misjudged. By the time "credits" roll here, the record will have oh-fficially been set straight as only His Excellency Magnus can set it!
This time around, the spotlight falls on the Karate Kid Part III, easily the most maligned and misunderstood of the Karate Kid trilogy. Daniel gets kicked around a lot during the movie but that's nothing compared to how poorly this third entry's been treated by fans, critics and the intelligentsia over the years.
But no more! Yes, kids, Magnus turns a highly literary and analytical eye to this film's myriad themes, layers and twists. So what more is there to say? Start listening or Terry Silver and John Kreese will concoct a diabolical plot against you and your sensei next!
