In this latest ball-burning episode, Magnus continues his exploration of Superman origin stories in comics. This time out, the subject is 1986's Man of Steel miniseries written and drawn by The Mighty John Byrne, which, apart from being a scorched Earth reboot, is an amazingly well-written and historic miniseries which set the context for Superman over the next 20'ish years.
