Episode 239- The Caped Crusades- Solid Foundation- Batman- Year One

Published: Feb. 13, 2018, 7 a.m.

In this week's rebooting episode, Magnus launches the start of the beginning of the onset of The Caped Crusades, a megaseries that by all rights probably shouldn't even be released right now (or even any time soon).

But. Life.

So yeah, the megaseries kicks off in a big way, first, by tackling Batman- Year One, by Frank Miller and David Mazuchelli and, second, by dragging Michael Bailey of Views From The Longbox fame in.

Magnus and Bailey put Year One under the microscope, confer amongst themselves, consult their respective libraries for sources and discuss vigorously. And also they vigorously discuss.

All this and more is coming your way in a podcast episode so awesome that only one episode could contain it.

So what else is there to say? Start listening right now before Bailey drives to your house and administers a professional, weapons-grade dropkick to your kidneys.

Due to the avalanche of awesomeness, there's just no time for listener feedback this week. But Magnus has slowly been getting caught up lately. There's been some feedback recently and there's more coming soon! So don't be left out! You too can offer your feeble effort at tribute whenever you want! Yes indeed, you humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is trentusmagnus@gmail.com as the other seems to be having technical problems.

In an another sublime act of truly stupendous magnanimity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, requests may be sent to trentusmagnus@gmail.com for the aforementioned corrupt DiManzocorp interns (who probably lack souls) to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!
