5. Curtis Sutherland - Experiencing Korea

Published: June 25, 2020, 6:33 p.m.

In this episode I get to talk with Curtis Sutherland, who also happens to be my dad. Right now he’s working as an Army chaplain in South Korea, providing spiritual support to the American troops but also helping them discover more of the Korean culture through local tours. Just as a word of caution, we dig into some war history that may not be suitable for young listeners and discuss some food items that may not be suitable for those with queasy stomachs. That being said however, there are so many great stories in this episode; we briefly cover some of the places we’ve lived over the years and then talk a lot about Korean history and culture.
