About Tiffany Porter:

A 20 year resident of Gwinnett County, Tiffany Porter has made public service a cornerstone of her career. She is the first African American Tax Commissioner for Gwinnett County, GA.

After graduating with Honors from Hampton University, Tiffany continued her educational pursuits at Emory University School of Law while dually enrolled in the MBA program at Georgia State University. It was during those graduate school years that she started her public service. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Thelma Wyatt Cummings Moore in Fulton County Superior Court and Justice Robert Benham in the Georgia Supreme Court.

With her degrees in hand, Tiffany launched a law firm specializing in real estate, tax, and business law. In 2011, she formed Porter and Whitner Law Group with her former partner, Judge Tadia Whitner. Tiffany's other business, Zenith Sports and Entertainment Group, a career management practice for professional athletes and entertainers, resulted from her certification as an NFL agent and licensed attorney.

On October 14, 2019, Tiffany Porter was sworn as the first African American Judge for the Duluth Municipal Court. Being first isn't new for Tiffany. She was the first in her family to go to college and the first to earn a law degree.

Also, Tiffany appears weekly as a legal analyst for the Court TV network. Tiffany Porter is blessed with four children, is a 20-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a 19-year member of Life Church International in Duluth, and a proud two-time breast cancer survivor.
