Nutrition plays an essential part of your health, performance, progress, and life! If we practice suppressing a macro because a stupid magazine says, "lose 15lbs in 2 weeks", all we're doing is practicing how to fight against our hardwired human codes. If you abuse ANY macro and consume to much, yes you can put your body in a surplus, which will then equal to weight gain or a plateau.\xa0

1g of protein is 4 calories, 1g of carbohydrates is 4 calories, and 1g of fat is 9 calories. This is how your body views all nutrition that enters the GI tract. All you need to do is one of two things depending on the goals you have: 1) get into a surplus (weight gain) or, 2) get into a deficit (weight loss). Food has been here since the day mankind was created. If food has been around so long, why does it seem as if we have become less and less educated on what the value is in food?\xa0
