Great and mighty is our God. On this episode of My Life Has Destiny Podcast we are featuring two awesome women. In the 8pm Est hour we have our returning guest Carmaria Fenton. Carmaria studied Biblical studies at Liberty University, she is an Entreprenuer, an accountant, a crisis counselor and an author. She is in the process of writing her first book and she is an advocate for domestic violence. She encourages, empowers and inspires others in her daily walk. And in the 9pm Est/8pm Cst hour we have Shana Gourdine is a motivational speaker and Author of the book, The Mask Behind the Mask. She is also the founder and CEO of Shana Unmasking Motivation — which empowers women and men to discover their truest self in order to maintain peace after trauma. Shana has been a human services leader since 2004, including roles as Residential Counselor and Assistant Manager at the Center for Disability Services. Her passion for service was challenged when she discovered she had, not just one, but four debilitating conditions: fibromyalgia, Ankylosing Spondylitis, polycystic kidney disease and polycystic ovary syndrome. Her determination has inspired many which in turn inspires her to continue to speak and support her many sisters and friends in their search for self-worth, self-esteem and self-love. She is a part of PWG, HTM Organization, and a very passionate domestic violence advocate. She is the recipient of the Purple Ribbon Award for Courage. And she is a contributor for Blessings magazine and other publications, blogs and podcasts. Shana graduated in 2003 with a BA in sociology from Morris College, Sumter SC. She also obtained her culinary certificate in 2005 from ACAP.  Shana was born November 23,1980 in Charleston, SC. She was raised in Cross, SC by her mother Viola Gourdine and Great-Grandmother Jaine B. Smalls.
