For it’s 50th anniversary, 2001: A Space Odyssey is being re-released in IMAX and 70mm and it is also Conor, Mark and Don’s first time seeing it. Directed by Stanley Kubrick, the film, which follows a voyage to Jupiter with the sentiant computer HAL after the discovery of a monolith affecting human evolution. It deals with themes of existentialism, human evolution, technology, A.I. , and the possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial life. A thought provoking film that writer Arthur C.
