This week for the third entry of Sam Raimi month, Zach picked the 1990 superhero film Darkman. Directed and co-written by Sam Raimi. Based on a short story Raimi wrote that paid homage to Universal’s horror films of the 1930s, the film tells the story of a brilliant scientist left for dead who returns to exact revenge on the people who burned him alive while also finding his girlfriend again. The film stars Liam Neeson, Frances McDormand, Larry Drake and Colin Friels.
