This week after having watched two heavy films, we’re going light and silly with Don’s pick of the 1985 classic Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. Directed by Tim Burton in his feature debut the film, described as a “parody” or “farce version” of the 1948 Italian classic Bicycle Thieves, tells the story of Pee-wee Herman’s nationwide search for his stolen bicycle and the people he meets along the way.
