This week we watched the 1982 classic Steven Spielberg film E.T. The Extra Terrestrial and it might’ve been Don’s first time seeing it completely. Directed by Steven Spielberg, and written by Melissa Mathison it tells the story of Elliott, a boy who befriends an extraterrestrial, dubbed “E.T.”, who is stranded on Earth. The film stars Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote, Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore. We also talked about J.J. Abrams a bit and his film Super 8 which was inspired by the film.
