The second entry for animation month got away from us time wise but we watched the Netflix animated anthology series Love, Death & Robots. The series was created by Tim Miller and David Fincher and is a re-imagining of a reboot of the 1981 film Heavy Metal. It consists of 18 stand-alone episodes, all under 20 minutes long, though we only watched 7 of them. The series title refers to each episode’s thematic connection to the three aforementioned subjects, though not every episode contains all three elements. Come join us for this discussion.
