In this interview, we are joined by Ross Baron. Ross teaches Religion and Philosophy at BYU-Idaho. Ross grew up Jewish and spent time investigating many different religions before he found the restored gospel. In the early 2000s while living in Southern California, there was a strong anti-Latter-Day Saint influence in his community. As a way of responding to this, local leaders organized community firesides. In these firesides Ross would cover topics such as "Are Mormons Christian?" and would close the meetings with a Q&A session where any questions were welcomed. As a result of these firesides, many people were baptized and reactivated. In this interview, we discuss Ross\'s conversion story, the community firesides he took part in, frameworks for approaching controversial issues, and what the gospel means to him.

Ross also has a great podcast called "Faithful Conversations" that I\'d recommend looking into, below are some links to it.
