In this episode, Mick and Mark talk to a young man who we will call John. John's mother had an addiction to heroin and he never knew his father. His mum passed away when he was 10, forcing him to grow up quickly. For him, this meant getting involved in illegal activity to support

his younger siblings. In 2018, John began working with YMCA ReBuild, but unfortunately lost his position. Recently, John was given another opportunity with YMCA ReBuild and he hasn't looked back since. Join Mick, Mark and John as they reflect on his journey and how far he's come.
