Peggy Sue Got Married

Published: March 17, 2021, noon

It's a beautiful day in the Time After Time neighborhood as we welcome a very special guest, Paul Farhi. Paul is a renowned reporter for the Washington Post, a three-time winner of the National Press Club award for media reporting and criticism, a fierce Twitter presence, and MOST importantly, the father to a certified expert in time travel romances. (The certified expert is Helena, and Paige made her the certification.) Paul is an extremely knowledgable addition this week as we discuss Peggy Sue Got Married, a 1986 classic where we watch a clearly 30-something-year-old Kathleen Turner pretend to be 43 and then 18, and we watch a young Nicolas Cage pretend to be a real-life human being. Come for the Francis Ford Coppola, stay for the Jim Carrey.
