b'Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a mess. Everyone knows it. The CGI is weird, the anthropomorphic animals are off putting and we have the inter-dimensional beings fiasco. However this movie does a lot of things right: the casting, performances and stunts are all great. This more modern iteration goes to great lengths to maintain the integrity of the character of Indy and it is successful, but somewhat haphazardly so. This episode is actually incredible. We have the triumphant return of 3rd host Leila! Who is back to provide some biting critiques, sober observations and hilarious commentary. Strap in for this one because it is a wild ride and much less disappointing than the actual movie.
