b'Rambo is the fourth instalment in the franchise. Stallone tried to "direct this movie from the perspective of Rambo". When you take that into consideration the movie takes on new dimensions and becomes a compelling exploration of the psyche of a deeply traumatized and solitary ex vet. However unfortunately Stallone\'s deeply rooted racism is also on full display in his direction and characterization. The bros discuss this and more on this week\'s episode. We find Rambo now an elder/peaceful snake wrangler in Thailand and he gets asked by a group of silly American missionaries to take them to Burma. Of course like it does in all the other movies things start going haywire, but in an interesting way this time because the world view represented by Stallone\'s choices is very nihilistic and troubling. It is a true sequel to the psychological aspect of the first film only much bleaker.
