All About Activism | An Interview with Salomé Beyer

Published: July 29, 2021, 10 a.m.

Hey, there! This week I was joined by my role model: Salomé Beyer! We kicked things off with an introduction, tea talk, and rapid fire questions about feminism, inspiration, habits, and life. First, we explored Salo’s journey with Girl Up: her experience, the tools she acquired, and advice for upcoming feminists. Secondly, we talked about what makes Salo who she is: building up her sisters, educating with love, and staying humble. Thirdly, we talked about the future: her university expectations, life wishes, and message to her future self. Lastly, Salo asked me her questions and shared her recommendations in podcasts before signing off. People cannot deny facts” “I’m not doing any of this for recognition” “I’m not doing this for me, so why would a certificate matter?” “Colombia deserves a break” “I have one goal: to see abortion legalised in Colombia” “If you’re not at your 100%, the work you put out won’t be either” Thanks for tuning in, have a beautiful week!
