A Field Trip to Hell - Kevin Benton attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA., the world's largest Evangelical Christians School, founded by the late, great Chancellor, Rev. Dr. Jerry Falwell. While at Liberty, he was a member of the basketball team that represented the first Christian School to ever play in the N.C.A.A. tournament against high school friend and former N.B.A. player, Rasheed Wallace and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Upon leaving Liberty, Kevin had the opportunity to play professional basketball in Europe, Asia and a host of other countries. Kevin was also invited to some N.B.A. camps during his career, including the Philadelphia 76ers, where he played against played against some of the best players in the world including N.B.A. players Kobe Bryant, Yoa Ming, Aaron McKie, Rick Mahorn, Jerome Allen, Paul Graham and the list goes on. Kevin is very knowledgeable of doctrine and theology and as a result of a real out of body/ visitation to Hell experience that he had in his college dorm room, he authored the best-selling, published book, "A Field Trip to Hell: Experience the 30 Torments of Hell Firsthand Without Having to Stay for Eternity." Kevin has been invited on many national and international T.V. and radio shows where he gets the opportunity to share his in-depth knowledge and real life experiences in order to encourage, inspire and inform. Ultimately, he brings a message of hope, help, healing and the reality of a real hell. Kevin is currently employed by the City of Philadelphia in the Department of Human Services as a Child Care Social Worker/Recreational Specialist Instructor and loves his job. Approaching his job with a level of seriousness, especially because it involves impacting our next generation, he enjoys the opportunity to provide life touching professional services for children, youth and families.
