When He had finished, one of the disciples came up to Him and said, ‘Lord, teach us to pray…’” (Luke 11:1). What seemed to be a fairly innocent question was actually a loaded one. The disciples were familiar with prayer. Yet, when Jesus prayed, there was something different. When Jesus prayed, there was power. When He prayed there was the promise of mountains moving and a Kingdom coming. In this Harvest Lenten series, Sacred Rhythms, we’re going to talk about prayer. What is it? How do you do it? And more importantly, we’ll look at how Jesus modeled it, practiced it and where He meets us in the midst of these Sacred Rhythms found within our prayer lives today.</p>
