GUEST: BOB STOOPS, FORMER OU HEAD COACH

BIO:

Joining us this week is coach Bob Stoops. He spent 18 years at Oklahoma, finishing with a 190-48 overall record. He resigned in June 2017 after an impressive tenure that included a national championship in 2000 and winning 10 Big 12 titles. He played defensive back in college at Iowa where he was the team MVP in 1982. Coach Stoops' new memoir is called “NO EXCUSES: The Making of a Head Coach” It chronicles his rise in football, his life, and legacy, and the exciting chapters to come as he remains intimately connected to college football, OU, the Big 12 and in 2020 will be leading a new team--the Dallas Renegades--in the inaugural season of the XFL.
