b"Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus

Taking up your cross doesn't mean living with a burden or putting up with mess.\\xa0 It means we are to give up and crucify our selfishness natures daily and follow Jesus.

Matthew 16:24-26
English Standard Version (ESV)

24\\xa0Then Jesus told his disciples, \\u201cIf anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25\\xa0For whoever would save his life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26\\xa0For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.\\xa0 Gal 5:24
