theTVaholic Previews FOX’s Scream Queens
In this episode we preview FOX’s new horror comedy Scream Queens. It stars Jaime Lee Curtis (New Girl, Halloween films), Emma Roberts (American Horror Story: Coven & Freakshow), Lea Michele (Glee), Skyler Samuels (The Nine Lives of Chloe King, The Gates), Oliver Hudson (Nashville, Rules of Engagement), Abigail Breslin (Zombieland film), Niecy Nash (The Soul Man, Getting On), Ariana Grande (Sam & Cat, Victorious) and Nick Jonas (Kingdom).
Scream Queens takes place on a college campus, mostly around the Kappa House sorority. All hell breaks loose when the dean of students announces that they have to allow anyone to pledge, not just the elite. Meanwhile, People start dying as a devil clad killer runs amok on campus.
Scream Queens is billed as a horror comedy of which I found to be neither scary nor funny. If you are big into horror or Ryan Murphy produced shows, your mileage may vary.
