This week, Les talks with Kimberley Locke about the release of her new album Christmas is Here. When Kimberley auditioned for the 2003 series of \\u201cAmerican Idol\\u201d, it was a life-changing decision as she eventually placed as second runner-up, signed to Curb Records, and became a successful recording artist. Kimberley released three full-length albums with the label, had eight Top 20 Adult Contemporary hits and four #1 Dance hits across various Billboard charts and her #1 club hit, a remake of the Freda Payne classic \\u201cBand of Gold,\\u201d was included on Billboard\\u2019s \\u201cTop 50 Dance Songs of the Decade\\u201d list. She\\u2019s also made history as being the only recording artist to score a #1 Christmas song on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart three years in a row.
