Commonly referred to as \\u2018the hot tooth\\u2019, a patient who presents with one can never be totally trusted to make the decision on treatment or even diagnosis.

It is not as uncommon as we would expect that sometimes the patient is just in too much pain to be logical in their decisions or even correct about which tooth it is.
