Myofacial Pain patients can be the most challenging types of patients to treat and many doctors refer them to oral surgeons and other specialists not knowing what to do. The reality is, we do not receive a lot of experience in this area in dental school except to recommend a \\u201cbite plane\\u201d, which, after years of treating pain patients, is now what I barely consider a \\u2018bandaid at best\\u2019.
