About my business, my journey, and myself:::

I started my business in college making jewelry out of washers and nails and whatever I could get my hands on. I eventually trained with a master goldsmith and blacksmith to further my skills and designs. I\'ve been a one-woman show for the past 10 years participating in art fairs, galleries
and eventually starting my own online presence. I\'ve learned a lot...some things the hard way, but I am most grateful for friends, family, and the community that has supported me and my dream.
My true interest is within the narrative of our jewelry. I love things that tell a story. Im also a big collector of items. I love anything old and handmade and I often find my inspiration from existing pieces that still have a story to tell.
My most recent success has been with the Gunslinger collection created out of recycled bullet casings. I\'ve done many pieces for military families using the casings fired at a military funeral. These casings hold such importance to the family left behind and using them to create jewelry is the perfect way to share the story. Instead of them sitting in a drawer, the family can wear them which reminds them of their loved one every single day. When someone compliments the jewelry, it is an opportunity to share
their story and continue sharing the honor and sacrifice they and their families have endured. To me there is nothing better than that. I have several other collections currently being finished up that are all based on similar themes of narrative.'
