b'Rachael Teufel is an award winning cake designer and owner of Intricate Icings Cake Design in Erie, CO. She has been designing cakes for over 12 years. Rachael has competed on Food Network Challenge three times, placing second on two episodes, Roller Derby Cakes and Mardi Gras Cakes. She finally took home the grand prize in her last appearance on Food Network Challenge: Halloween Ghost Stories in October 2011. Her work has also been featured in The Knot Colorado, The Denver Magazine, and Cake Central Magazine well as on top industry sites like Half Baked, Style Me Pretty, and Wedding Chicks. Known for creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art out of cake, Rachael takes great pride in every step of the process from developing the initial concepts to piping the last details. Rachael is extremely passionate about every cake she creates and settles for nothing less than perfection.
