Welcome to Episode #3 of The Screen Presence Podcast.

We are joined for our third podcast by producer, Greg Nugent from HTYT and co-host, Brychan Tudor, to discuss inclusion and the work which took place on the 2020 documentary, \'Rising Phoenix\'.

Please do check out the introduction episode of the podcast to find out a bit more about why we\'re making the show and what we hope to achieve. We\'d also really appreciate it if you could subscribe to the show and share it with colleagues, so we can reach as many people as possible and spread the word about the fantastic work people are doing to promote and support inclusion and greater representation within the screen industries.

Our thanks to Greg and Brychan for giving their time and support towards this episode.

Thanks too to the Inclusion Team at the BFI for their support, Matt Canning for his fantastic artwork and the folks from The Sound of Colour Orchestra at TAPE, for allowing us to use their music for the show.

Project Call Out from Brychan Tudor:

Are you a creative with lived experience of long-term or chronic pain?

Would you be interested in sharing some of your experiences?

Do you have access to a smart phone or tablet?

Shatter-Resistant

Shatter-Resistant is an ongoing research project, proposing to create a short-film showcasing the stories of a number of creatives who have lived experience of long-term or chronic pain. This short film will represent the latest instalment of a long-term creative journey researching this topic and talking to artists who suffer with long-term pain conditions (Shatter-Resistant was shortlisted for a 2019 Unlimited\\xa0major R&D award).\\xa0

The overall aim of this film is to highlight the stories of some incredible people, widening awareness of the effects of long-term pain, its influence on creative processes and on our relationships with the world around us.

If you would like to take part in a self-recorded interview (via your smartphone/tablet) or would prefer to discuss the subject in another format then please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Brychan Tudor
