b'Story: The Influence of DJ Flip

DJ Flip is the best American Disc Jockey around. He\\u2019s been a threat to other disc jockey\\u2019s in his town. His dearest friend, Miss Grady, talks about his childhood.

Miss Grady: We\\u2019ll, I\\u2019ve been knowing Flip since he was a little boy. His parents raised him good. He was a very good boy, and it\\u2019s sad to say that his parents were killed by some very bad guys. He would come to my house and eat sometimes and listen to music. He basically finished raising himself, and I would encourage him to go to school. He did finish & he became a disc jockey. None of the radio stations would give him a job. So he bought himself a building and started his own thing.

Announcer: After DJ Flip became a disc jockey, he began to recognize talent in his community. What really made him famous is when he recognized a young talented woman named Amarah.

Amarah: We\\u2019ll, I\\u2019ve been knowing Flip since I was very young. We had been apart for a long time, and one day I walked into his station and asked to collaborate with him. He played my records, and people started calling in, and I\\u2019ve been known ever since.

Announcer: DJ Flip not only recognizes musical talent, but he also recognized Domino Storm the boxer. And now he wants to recognize the Christian leader, Mr. Time.

DJ Flip: We\\u2019ll, I\\u2019d like to recognize Mr. Time because we are living in the time that he\\u2019s talking about. Most people do not understand what\\u2019s coming soon. Something is coming that will dramatically affect our lives. We see the signs of the times. Wars & conflicts are the signs of the times.

Miss Grady: A lot of people have turned against Flip. Gangsters have vandalized his radio station. People that he has helped to start their own radio station has turned on him. He has helped a lot of people in this community, and there\\u2019s a lot of jealousy going on that he doesn\\u2019t deserve.

Announcer: Some people may not like DJ Flip, but he has made a difference recognizing others.
