AMARAH was someone in DJFlip’s past. Whenever he would look into her eyes, he would become spellbound, and she was hoping that he recognized her. But she knew that he didn’t because Flip thought that she had died. They were friends in the elementary school years.

Amarah: We’ll, I guess I better be going Flip. Thanks for letting me be on your show.

Flip: OK umm, my pleasure. You may come back again any time.

Amarah: Can I ask you a question?

Flip: Sure.

Amarah: What’s your real name?

Flip: Jeffrey

Amarah: Jeffrey-Jeffrey who?

Flip: Jeffrey Johnson.

Amarah: ( Yea, he’s the guy). Where did you get this key from lying on the table.

Flip: Oh, that’s nothing Amarah. Just an old key.

Amarah: Na, it’s not just an old key.

Amarah: That empty case on the wall. Hmm

Flip: That’s just an empty case on a wall where I kept an old record.

Amarah: Na, not just an empty case on a wall where you kept an old record.

Flip: So what is it then?

Amarah: C’mon Flip. I’m from the music business, and the maker behind that record, and this key, and that case is not in the business. I know the label on that record.

Flip: Well, the record is gone. All my record collection with it. I wouldn’t want it back. None of it.

Amarah: Then it might be a new beginning for you. You can start over. Here! Get rid of this key. Bury it. Oh! One more thing. Can I stop by tomorrow? I got something you might want to check out.

Flip: Sure you can.

Amarah: You okay? Hey! Cheer up!

Narrator: The next day: Amarah went to see DJ Flip. Carrying a small briefcase. When she walked into Flip’s station, she began to open up to him.

Amarah: You don’t remember me do you?

Flip: Yea, you were the young lady that came to see me yesterday.

Amarah: I’m talking about from kindergarten to … fifth grade?

Flip: No, you’re not that same Amarah. You died.

Amarah: No, I didn’t die. I swam. I made it. I stayed hidden from the bad guys. They’re all dead now.

Flip: I cried and shedded so many tears over you most of my life.

Amarah: I’m sorry but I couldn’t see you anymore. It was too much of a risk. I never forgot about you. I waited until I could put those guys in checkmate.

Narrator: Amarah then pulled out a chess piece. It was the bishop.

Amarah: Remember Jeffrey how we use to play. I’ve started my own record company. More bad guys might come. Do you want to collaborate? Don’t worry about what you’ve lost.

Flip: I can’t do it Amarah. I’m not a business type of person.

Amarah: Yes, you can. You have your own radio station. You’ve got great mind power. Think on it. Take this chess piece. If you look under the bottom, it’s a key. Keep it and don’t forget to throw that other one away. It’s a key to a strange & dark land, but the one I’m giving you is the key to a hard and bumpy road starting out. But it will get you where you want to be. Think on it & remember me.

Narrator: Amarah walked out of DJ Flip’s station a confident woman knowing she could conquer her enemies, and she knew more would come spiritually and physically. Amarah was ready to collaborate with DJ Flip. …
