In a very special episode recorded live in front of a student audience at Queen Mary University, Chris is joined by Will Smith (no, not that one!) - Co-Founder of Banking Platform Tred.

Tred is the UK's only carbon-neutral neobank and the only FinTech in Europe to be both B-Corp pending and a member of 1% For The Planet. Tred calculates a users personalised carbon footprint based on their spending and highlights which aspects of their lifestyle are having the biggest impact, as well as\\xa0 suggesting sustainable switches users can then make to reduce their impact further.

In the episode, Will talks through the journey to building a banking platform, coming from a non-financial background. He discusses the decision to find a Co-Founder and what the onboarding process of a Co-Founder is like, as well as some of the challenges they faced along the way.

Will then talks through how they balance sharing hard hitting information and insight with customers about their spending along with ensuring that they are providing a positive user experience.

Finally, Will shares their journey to becoming B-Corp certified pending and the changes that they needed to make in order to make this a reality.
