Your Story Can be Next with Steve McChesney

Many of you have fallen into a flow of Netflix and chill or Disney childhood throwback shows throughout the pandemic. Don't fret...this is a nonjudgement zone. I simply want to ask you a question...

What if your story was the next story on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon? It starts with you seeing the value of your own story. Then, once you value your story, you need a strategy to not only own that story but to share it.

"No matter who you are, your story is important to not just you, but for those around you" ~ Steve

Steve's nuggets:
~ Determine how you will move forward no matter what your circumstances look like
~ Look at your life in four quarters like in football and then learn to love the quarter you are in
~ There are erasers on pencils so you don't have to just live with mistakes
~ There is no such thing as failure...it's all education
~ Ask yourself what got you to where you are
~ If you did it once you can make it happen again
~ Pay close attention to the habits you need to break and the new habits that you need to create
~ It's important to invest in yourself with things like meditation, reading, and journaling

From working with a WWE Wrestler to becoming a taxi driver, Steve shared what to look for when you are tallying up the results. The things that were once so valuable and important tend to lose their luster when we look at the bigger picture.

One valuable gem is that your current circumstances can help you to create new habits and get a clearer understanding of your story. In the midst of the situation, there is the temptation to quit and halt your movement forward. Assess your situation and get someone to help you determine how you can move to the next page of your story.
