Special Mompreneurs Series with Jaemellah Kemp

This short series is for moms from some amazing women with mom stories that will elevate you no matter what level you are on when it comes to being a mompreneur. Jaemellah's mom story is about tenacity and the will to make it happen. Moving from one stream of income to multiple streams allows a mother to create or recreate her family legacy. This is the heart of what Jaemellah does.

Jaemellah's mom tips:
~ Find the passion population that you would like to serve
~ Think of a creative solution to a problem that your passion population has
~ Don't think that you always have to create a non-profit (Look at partnerships and volunteering)
~ Acts of kindness is a way that you can serve your passion population

Jaemellah Kemp is all things nonprofit management.


Ms. Kemp’s tenacity, drive, determination and willingness to help others inspired her to found
IT TAKES TWO, INC, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that awards scholarships to students living
in single-parent homes.


As a single mother, she understands the financial and emotional strains associated with one parent and one-income households. IT TAKES TWO, INC is her ministry to pay it forward by relieving the financial burden associated with back to school costs.

To date, the organization has awarded 21 scholarships totaling over $6,800.


Ms. Kemp has extended her philanthropic efforts through Jaemellah Kemp Consulting (JKC). JKC
is an educationally-based nonprofit start-up consulting firm that assists aspiring entrepreneurs in successfully building a nonprofit founded on sound principles, actionable strategies, and
relevant information. Ms. Kemp has launched, in partnership with visionaries, over 30 nonprofit
organizations with 100% 501c(3) approval rate.
