Just BE with Janice Aquini

Learning to "Just BE" sounds like something a frustrated mother would say to her child. Yet, with so many things that have happened this year learning to "Just BE" can be a benefit to us emotionally, mentally, and physically. It stops us in our tracks and makes us focus on today! Sometimes that may sound easier said than done but it is possible.

To "Just BE" took on a few different meanings for me.

Just BE yourself
Just BE honest
Just BE humble
Just BE present
Just BE thankful

I'm sure that I can add many other areas to the list but I think you get where I am coming from. 2020, with all its interesting moments, made this a year of reflection and growth in life, business, and relationships. We all were feeling it but not everyone handled it the same. Janice and I had a candid conversation about what it meant to "Just BE" and what steps were needed to get there.

Janice's nuggets:
~ Make being thankful a routine
~ Start with a self-evaluation
~ Understand that you have a choice
~ When given the opportunity to reset...take it!
~ Instead of complaining make a shift to something better

When making the shift to "Just BE" you have to ask yourself the question "Who do I want to be?" That question may sound easy to answer but there is some work that needs to be done. You will need to do some soul searching. Don't get caught up in giving a surface response.

Janice went on to share with us about the cycle of reality and how it affects the person that you want to be. Your friendships and community can also add or subtract from how you see yourself and the world around you. When you are being intentional with the decision to "Just BE" realize that the impact will have a ripple effect in your business and life.
