As someone who lived with Chronic Depression & Anxiety Disorder from a tender age, Oredolapo Ade Roberts understands the stigma surrounding people managing Mental Health challenges. Her desire to raise awareness for the possibility of recovery and combat Mental Health Stigma encouraged her to start "Always Part of The Solution." The stagnated start of her blog, "Amicable Solutions," caused Ms. Roberts to revamp her approach as she “inspires and reassure there is hope for recovery from Mental Illness by empowering yourself with the knowledge of what works for you.” This new approach manifested
in the desire to reach others via Inspirational Speaking, a podcast
"Inappropriate Affect," to air in November 2018 and her new book, "No Longer Crying Alone"
Ms. Roberts is a Certified Peer Specialist in the State of New York and certified to administer Mental Health First Aid. She is currently attending State University of New York-Empire, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with the final goal of becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker.
She holds a special interest for homelessness, children and women issues and underserved individuals.
