b'A day late, but it\'s finally here, the new episode of The Short News Podcast. Alex is excited for the Spider-Man movie after seeing the leaked set photos (don\'t look them up if you don\'t want spoilers!), and talks about going to movie theaters during COVID times. \\nThere\'s news to talk about as well, a tornado destroyed an Amazon warehouse, killing 6 people, and Alex has a lot to say about how employees weren\'t allowed to go home before the tornado touched down. This leads to a rant about Amazon, Bezos, and commercial space travel ruining the environment. Also, California is working on new gun control laws, and Alex gives his unique take on gun control, which will most likely please both sides of the argument. \\nA new free app called WOMBO Dream has been released which allows users to create art just by typing in a set of words, and Alex talks about how he has turned it into a twisted, demented game, and now an AI art gallery called "Murder on Sesame Street." Then there\'s some talk of the metaverse, since Horizon Worlds opened to the public, so Alex explains his experience in the matrix. \\nNow here\'s something that\'s really bugging Alex, and a lot of other people. Hasan Piker (Hasanabi on Twitch) has been banned for saying a certain word related to a saltine, so there\'s a rant about white fragility and why Hasan shouldn\'t have been banned. Twitch mods get roasted pretty bad in this one. After that there\'s a roast of Ted Cruz, some Karen freakouts, and a relationship advice segment. \\nLearn more about your ad choices.
