EP 64 Kyle Cease Makes Us Cry

Published: Nov. 12, 2018, 10 p.m.

It’s Kyle Cease everybody! He’s here to talk about transformation, faith, fear, self-healing … and to pretty much blow our minds. He calls for us to be absolutely in love with all the potential outcomes in our lives. He explains why we often don’t get what we really want. And he reminds us that the middle of life is a fantastic time to shift patterns and welcome growth.

Kyle’s pillar-shaking wisdom and deep insights are delivered in his distinctly funny and endearing way. This episode had such a profound effect on Nance, it moved her to tears. And we love that.

Takeaways:

● This is the second of two episodes taped at the Wanderlust Wellspring Festival in Palm Springs, CA, a health and wellness gathering unlike anything Sher and Nance have seen before.

● Be absolutely in love with all the possibilities of outcome. Follow each worry, fear and doubt with the heartfelt declaration, “...and I love that,” and see what portals open up for you. This practice helps us drop the heavy baggage we’ve been carrying for decades.

● Kyle says there are only two reasons that things are in our life: we want it or we are scared to lose it.

● Don’t get kicked in the “yeah, buts” as in: “What a great idea! Yeah, but.” This is our fear army, marching in when we aim for what we love, trying to convince us why it won’t work or why we aren’t deserving.

● Life doesn’t give us an entire map — but it does give us one step at a time. Saying yes to the opportunity opens up the next step. (The answers appear faster when we take care of ourselves.)

● You don’t need a sign to validate how you feel internally. Your feelings are the sign.

● Even if you have had an identity for 40+ years, you can still transform. Your baggage has nothing to do with the essence of you.

● We cry when we say goodbye to a story that no longer serves us. When we are falling apart, something is being birthed. We have to feel it to let go of it.

● It’s all about growth. Butterflies don’t check in with caterpillars to see what to do next. (Nor do they need to make a pro and con list!).

● “Lost” is actually an advanced state of being. It invites you to accept the moment for what it is, and not try to control it.
