So far heat maps of excess mortality accross Europe over recent years show 2020 to be lower than recent years. We discuss this finding critically. One good thing to come out of this situation is a potentially more authoritarian state and a reduction in permissiveness. Over the millennia excessively permissive societies are usually a harbinger of collapse of that civilisation.
