Today’s guest, Elena Brower, a Mama, teacher and author, She has studied yoga, meditation and healing with master teachers since 1997, and has been teaching since 1999. She is one of the most relevant voices in Yoga today that speaks directly to your heart, Elena’s groundbreaking yoga workbook, Art of Attention, has been translated into 5 languages. She’s the founder of teach.yoga, a virtual home for teachers worldwide to learn to deepen their practice as well as find their voice as teachers. She rose to acclaim, becoming known first as a wonderful teacher on the New York yoga scene, and then a teacher of teachers on a larger stage. Elena gives Rosie advice on how to deal with an uncomfortable situation and talk about her journey to recovery and how she was able to identify her addiction and her passion towards the road to recovery. We talk about what addiction looks like and sounds like, and the steps she took to move away from stunting her own growth and path as a prevalent leader in the world of Yoga and Meditation.
