No one is exempted from life\\u2019s hardships and challenges. In fact, before winning her Miss USA crown, Deshauna experienced a series of failures and numerous defeats. In the midst of these consistent defeats was Deshauna\\u2019s perseverance and determination to chase her dream, and did not dare give up.

Deshauna knows what it\\u2019s like to lose and fail, but she also knows what it\\u2019s like to own the Universe. Indeed as the saying goes, \\u201cThe flower that blooms in adversity, is the most rare and beautiful of all.\\u201d There is beauty and strength in never giving up.\\xa0
