What do you know about Alzheimer's? What causes dementia? Did you know there was a HIV prevention pill? On this episode of the Quad, we invite Gloria "Free Me" Johnson to the studio. Gloria embodies community engagement, and shares with us her passion for humans of all generations. "It's a passion, but it's also personal". We discuss her leadership with the young women of our community in the Speak Sister Speak youth female organization. We then transition to her background in the health field and cover HIV, Alzheimer's, Dementia, the causes and also how some diseases are interconnected. You will be enlightened and educated!

Free Me also started the Conversation Piece event around the Dallas area where the community comes together for open, honest, and unfiltered dialogue. As a poet, we couldn't allow her to leave our presence during National Poetry Month without blessing the mic with a piece she was moved to create DURING the show!
