Episode 13: “CommUNITY Frontline”

Published: July 9, 2018, 12:31 p.m.

On this episode of the Quad, two special guests visit the studio to discuss the community. Quinton Phillips and Derek Carson enlighten us about Community Frontline, and how important and impactful their work has become. This organization is official, and its focus is on the men showing up and being a presence and model for the younger generation who will eventually take over this work. These community servants understand the need for collaboration across all social, cultural, and gender lines in order to see progression and elevation in the community. Based in Stop Six, Fort Worth TX, this group of men are making their presence known to the citizens, while also connecting and building relationships with local businesses and law enforcement agencies. Community Frontline is a brotherhood with a focus on mobilizing the men in East Fort Worth, but does not exclude the women in the community who are always in full support.

Enjoy the conversation, then get involved! Check out their calendar for upcoming events like family movie night and community clean up events.
